Street planters unmaintained
Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 15:09, Saturday 30 July 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
These wooden planters which were installed only a year or so back, no doubt at some cost, seem totally uncared for and have become litter collecting sites. These give a poor impression of Orpington to visitors coming from the station. Please either maintain or remove.
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

The planters were installed to improve pedestrian safety and stop vehicles driving down the pavement. The road is not adopted by Bromley Council and not a highway. Maintenance is currently the responsibility Southeastern although the land is owned by Network Rail.
