Your contractor attended a few days ago…and as you can see from the attached photos there isn’t much difference …in fact he has used the old cracked paving slab or he has broken the new one….and the real problem is the raised edge around the manhole cover and this has not been fixed….in my opinion this still presents a substantial trip hazard

You emailed me last week to say that this problem has been fixed….well as you can see from the attached photos has not been….after the first visit by your contractor you asked for feed back…and I gave it….you sent somebody round who marked the offending slabs with white spray…since then nobody has visited the site, the slab on the left in the photo is active…the new slab on the right is broken and the raised edge is still protruding around the manhole. This needs to be fixed…the schools return this week and the pedestrian footfall will increase….or leave it and look forward to some expensive accident claims

Thanks for your email…..someone is telling porkies…..the problem has NOT been dealt with….you put this in the hands of your contractors on the 31st August….now 5 weeks later…it is still the same. This path is one of the main routes to the local school….and I witnessed again this week two children trip over the raised manhole cover…I’m actually getting bored with this now….if you are not going to fix it …just say so….and don’t lie about it being fixed!!M
