Awful stagnant water with wildlife struggling. also an opportune time to get all the trolleys and awful rubbish out which is also a hazard

Thank you for your report. The weather conditions we are currently experiencing are extreme and in turn, is having a knock-on effect across the borough and the southeast of England. With the announcement from the Met Office, it is the driest January to June period since 1976 and so our streams and ponds are running dry. That said, waterfowl will naturally move to the nearest source of water and the brown grass will soon become green again when the rain returns. NM. 11.08.2022.

LBB’s Parks and Greenspaces contractor Idverde, cleared dumped rubbish in the upper lake at Church House Gardens (10th August), they spent 2 ½ hours and took away a scooter, shopping trolley, umbrellas, bottles, cans, tree branches and more debris. NM. 11.08.2022.
