Vegetation overflowing into the road from public land
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 10:13, Mon 8 August 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3737899.
This is your annual reminder to trim the plants at the beginning of Newlyn Close that are flowing into the road. As this happens every year, why not add it to your annual maintenance schedule?

Oh Bromley Council, what is your evidence for saying that no further action is required? Have you referred to past records? If you had you would have seen that I report this every year and every year, you come and trim the vegetation so that it doesn't spill into the road. The overgrowth is still spilling into the road and cars have to go round it. It's not rocket science. Plants grow and have to be trimmed. That's why I keep suggesting that you put it on your regular maintenance schedule, so that you can coordinate this work with other work nearby. I suggest that you get your contractor to trim this overgrowth and the hedge in Tregony Road at the same time.
