Derelict building poises safety hazard
Reported via mobile in the Request for Park Infrastructure category anonymously at 07:14, Thu 11 August 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3745998.
There is a derelict building in the Harvingtons grounds right next to the playground that is literally falling apart. Not only it poises a hazard for people buy also attracts groups of teenagers climbing roof and displaying unsocial behavior. I witnessed them throwing bottles and stones from the top in the middle of the day while playing with my child in the playground. This building is not just and eyesore but a hazard for the whole community. It needs to be demolished or repurposed. Harvingtons ground sees a lot of foot traffic every day, especially during school runs. Parents and dog walkers ask for takeaway cafe in the park, which might be a great business opportunity. Please do something with this structure.
