Root damage from large council controlled tree

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 16:23, Thu 11 August 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3747792.

This overgrown and neighbouring tree is leaning over to the garden of a local resident and is getting worse year on year. The roots are also causing damage to the patio area, which is raised up from the damage. The tree is located within grounds of the council run School House on Overbury Avenue. There is no TPO on the tree, would be safer to have it removed, to prevent further damage to private property and litigation against the council... also H&S considerations for the school. Believe the council has authorised the grounds to be used as a pre-school. Serious implications should the tree fall down, and / or branches onto children.
