The entire length of the road from Chelsfield Station up to Court Road is in appealing condition. Lots of potholes - so much so that cars are often driving down the middle of the road to avoid them. The whole stretch needs resurfacing as a priority.

We have been using The Highway for some weeks, to protect our car - and our bones! Please resurface asap

The area in question has been added to a forthcoming programme of works which will resurface this stretch of carriageway. Until those works are undertaken the road will continue to receive regular inspections and any assessed safety defects identified on those will have remedial works raised. Further deterioration can be reported as a new report via: https://fix.bromley.gov.uk
