Tree growth blocking pavement

The tree growth around the base of the tree is making it very difficult to walk on the already narrow pavement.

  • With over 2,200 lime trees in our borough, Bromley Council encourages residents to register as Tree Friends and volunteer to help the council's tree team with some tasks, including "removal of basal growth (small shoots at the base of trees which can obstruct the footway)".   • The order for these tree works has been raised with the Council’s contractor and remains outstanding within their planned schedule of works. We will continue to liaise with our contractor until the works are completed.

  • The tree at 1-3 Valley View Biggin Hill is getting very near to our houses The tree needs cutting back ASAP. Before long we will not be able to see out of our windows.
