Loose kerbstones......
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 08:20, Fri 2 September 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3796924.
Despite numerous requests and a succession of inadequate so called ‘repairs’ a number of these kerbstones on the south side of the road between Thorndale and Lubbock Court remain loose to the slightest touch and will NOT withstand being ‘hit’/‘mounted’ by 2 tonne delivery vans etc.
So please can you instruct a competent contractor to do a proper, long lasting repair this time....

Whilst it looks like, once again, an ‘attempt’ has been made at a repair, as per the attached 8am Friday 16 September, you can clearly see that one of the kerbstones remains uncemented and is loose and moves to the slightest touch let alone being mounted by a 2 tonne plus delivery van, heavy SUV etc etc....
So please, once again, can you instruct the contractor to have another go at doing a proper repair.....

We have referred this back to our contractors to carry the remediable repairs. We apologise the delay and appreciate your patience.
This should be completed shortly.
Thank you.

SITREP Friday 30 September
Still waiting for the latest attempt to do a proper repair.....
Posted anonymously at 08:33, Fri 30 September 2022
Still open, via questionnaire -
Noted that it has been repaired again this time with some tarmacing; hopefully more robust this time and able to withstand ‘mounting’, like the attached photo....
