Sat 10 Sep: Pavement Clutter on The Meadway
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction to Highway category by Friends of Green Street Green Common at 14:28, Sun 11 September 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3817315.
Vehicle paraphernalia such as these EV charging points should be sited on a build-out in the roadway, not obstructing the footway. Given one of the EV charging units has been damaged please take the opportunity to move it to a more appropriate position. Please follow Living Streets' guidance - https://www.livingstreets.org.uk/ media/ 6478/ pavements_people_ev_2106.pdf - TIA

The EV charge points were installed by TfL. The industry standard minimum width for footway is 1.2m, which is what is available between the charge points and the rear of the footway.
