Wooden Post Obstruction
Reported via iOS in the Public Right of Way footpath category anonymously at 08:23, Tue 13 September 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3821146.
A wooden post that was erected over a year ago is now causing us problems when reversing from our property. It was originally put there mostly because neighbour (house on corner of Warren Road and garage next to our property on 1 Edith Road) would reverse out of their garden with a pick up truck and trailer attached every morning and damage The pavement and part of grass verge. This neighbour moved over a year ago and the post is now not only an inconvenience but on such a narrow street and with permanent parking outside Victorian terrace houses opposite it can take a few manoeuvres to get out of our drive and therefore holds up any traffic waiting to pass. At the moment gas company are outside for the next few weeks putting in new gas pipes and the part of our drive/road has been dug up around the post. I asked the gas people if they would be able to dig up post (you will see from photo attached post is stuck in the middle of their work) but they said they would not be able to without permission from Bromley council. Would you please allow them to do this as the post now serves no useful purpose. Thank you.
