Uneven pavement all along Harting Road

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 17:02, Saturday 24 September 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The uneven pavent on both sides of Haring Road is getting serious, there are lots of areas of uneven pavement and it's unsafe for children to go to school with young children and buggies trying to use the pavement without tripping over. One corner of Harting Road that joins Court Farm Road is so uneven that I can't push the buggy on it, instead, I have to wait for traffic to pass before I push my buggy and guide my 2 children to walk along Harting Road, then get back on the pavement once we've passed the uneven parts of the pavement. Please take this matter seriously as alot of school children use this road to get to school and there are uneven pavement all along the road. This issue has been on for months and it doesn't seem like anyone has reported it.

  • Please see pics where the pavement has not been fixed, only the opposite side that's not too serious has been mended. I have seen the inconvenience this corner of Harting Road has had during the school run, parents try to escorts their child and buggy on the road to get to the other side of the pavement. Cars on Harting Road have to wait for the children to pass the cornered off area before they could drive past. Please take this issue seriously as I had to take more pics this morning to report the issue hasn't been resolved,. The uneven pavement along parts of Harting Road has caused some children to trip over which is very dangerous. Please get the pavement fixed ASAP as there are also elderly that uses this road.
