Oak tree branches are overhanging on our house and is a risk of damaging our conservatory

Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 17:50, Saturday 24 September 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The oak tree branches above our house has been dropping hard acorns onto our glass conservatory’s roof. The dropping of these acorns makes a loud thundering sound as well as poses the risk of chipping or shattering the glass roof.

This problem has now been present for about a month and a half with acorns dropping randomly all throughout the day as well as in the middle of the night. The dropping in the night has frequently woken us up, startled, as if someone might be trying to break one of the windows.

We would kindly request the council to trim some of the branches directly above the conservatory and the house to correct these dropping acorns shattering against the glass roof.
