Please give brief details of your complaint or compliment below:: Me and my family were woken up this morning (26/09/2022). There were workers on the pavement outside 40 High Street Beckenham (right below our flat window). They were cutting with a petrol saw at 4:30am!! I opened the window and there was dust going everywhere so they obviously weren't using dust suppression bottles either. For what reason are these workers allowed to use petrol saws at this time in the morning in a residential area? Are permits being granted with permission to work so loudly at this time? The barriers had been left up for the past few days so it wasn't a case of emergency works.

Can you please let me know for what reasons the reinstatement needed to be carried out ‘out of hours’?

Thames water have advised the reinstatement was done out of hours due to the footfall being to heavy for them to carry out the reinstatement during the day. we advised Thames water that they need to seek agreement to carry out works out of hours unless its emergency works. once again please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.
