Road railing has been damaged by car crash last night. Pavement obstructed and crash debris remains. Police and insurers involved.

This fencing has been left unfinished.
Not only is the section of replacement fencing clearly too short, but it's not flush/ straight to the remaining fencing.

We have passed this back to our minor works contractors to replacing the missing part of the railing. we apologies for the delay in getting this sorted.

Thank you. Any reason they just didn’t do it properly in the first place? I’m no expert but you can even just about see from the picture that the two sections of fence are not going to meet.

Many thanks - would it be possible to repair it properly this time, with an appropriate long section of railing rather than trying to squeeze in another tiny section of railing please? Existing sections may need to be removed so that a whole new section can be added rather than yet another small section of railing to close the ever decreasing gap. Thanks.

Thank you for your update. We are aware of this outstanding issue. Our Minor Works contractor has been asked to make the area safe pending installation of the appropriate size of railings. This item is custom made and we are waiting for completion of works by the manufacturer.

Please bear with us while we try to resolve this issue. We are awaiting for the replacement barrier to be installed. The area has been made safe pending supply and installation of a new barrier from our Minor Works Contractor.
