Road surface broken up around lathe access cover

In the main road directly outside T K Max pedestrian entrance, the road surface around the large metal access cover has partially disintegrated, leaving a void in the road surface. The volume of heavy traffic is continuing to exacerbate the problem.

We have investigated this report and found the issue to be the responsibility of Thames Water. We have therefore referred the enquiry to Thames Water. Future issues with Thames Water infrastructure can be reported directly to Thames Water via: http://www.thameswater.co.uk/ 16266.htm

The cover has again become loose and dangerous for cyclists with voids in the road surround around the cover. Should be repaired asap.

The carriageway has been made serviceable with a temporary repair. A permanent reinstatement has been arranged. Thank you for your patience whilst these works are completed.
