Pavement bulging with root of tree, surface cracked and trip hazard

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 18:54, Thursday 29 September 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Pavement outside no, 48 Old Tye Avenue has been forced upwards by a tree root, asphalt cracked and dangerous. I have a mobility scooter and it could damage the vehicle or tip it over. The fault is dangerous, especially at night. There are numerous children and their carers/parents who use the footpath as there is an infants/junior school at the end of the road, also a senior school in Jail Lane. The housing in the area is mainly that of bungalows, many of which are home to senior citizens with various infirmities etc. There are other examples of tree root damage to the asphalt pathways and grass verges in Old Tye Avenue which need your attention and would benefit of being surveyed by your department. Many thanks.
