Very large trees near to be near houses in Stanhope Rec

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 13:06, Saturday 1 October 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Hi there, There are numerous large trees within Stanhope Rec that are too close to the houses, they are a worry in strong winds and also block a lot of light to houses. They need to be significantly reduced or removed. With the trees falling in the storm last year it would be helpful to address now before the winter and any potential damage to houses. Thank you

  • A qualified arboricultural officer has examined the tree in question and concluded that no works are required at this time. This decision has been made in line with Our Tree Management Strategy and Council policy which can be found on the Council’s website. Therefore I am sorry but on this occasion the Council will not be undertaking any works to the tree.
