Why has this not been moved as a matter of urgency? It’s another accident waiting to happen.

Pls accept my apologies for the lack of an update but the original enquiry was logged incorrectly as highway obstruction rather than a nuisance vehicle and as a result was not dealt with as by the nuisance vehicle team. Now that it has come to my attention, I will deal with it as promptly as I can, however, in the case of an insurance claim such as this, we are duty bound to give the owner time to contact his insurance company and request recovery. This obviously has been overlooked or is lacking in an appropriate time response so the next step is to contact dvla to request keeper details in order that we can contact them. This will be completed today and the investigation will proceed from there. Updates will be provided as and when they are available

We have contacted the registered keeper of the vehicle and await further action.

Hi, thanks for your reply. This has been listed on here since 3 October and no one in Bromley has bothered, I have been doing weekly updates. Someone else also has been asking for action. Really bad on Bromley's behalf. How do I make a formal complaint as previously requested? Thanks

Dear Bromley Council Officers,
I do not believe it, reading the comments above. In fact, this van has been crashed and left at Woodbine Grove at the corner of the street since August 2022.
I do not believe that up to now, we have been contacting the council and trying to get this vehicle moved to a place of safety and nothing has been done so far. One excuse after the other with Bromley Council Workers!!!
If that had been in Beckenham, I bed you money... it would not be there any longer... it is just because Bromley Workers discriminate Penge as a 'poorer area', therefore nothing needs to be done there, in Penge on time, because only rich areas/people have the power to complain and the Council jumps quickly to keep them quiet! How irresponsible and discriminatory of Bromley Council !!!!!
This Van must be removed from that corner as a matter of urgency!!! Not when someone decides to do their job that day!!!!

What still needs to be investigated?! It's been there for 2 MONTHS now! Please remove the van – it's really dangerous where it currently is.
I don't understand why you, as an official body, cannot understand that?! Have you ever been to see the van itself?
Get it together, Bromley Council – currently, you should be ashamed of your bureaucratic selves.

Our Street Cleansing Contractor has been asked to attend and clear any glass or debris from the area.

This van was removed about 21 November, more than two months after the incident. Bromley were notified on 3 October, ignored the report continuously and have ignored my request twice for details of a formal complaint.
Again, how do I make a formal complaint?
