Terrible road conditions causing Vibrations through house

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 19:44, Tuesday 4 October 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

HGV & BUSES send vibrations through my house as well as neighbouring properties. This is not the first time it has been reported....it's been going on for well over a year now and my neighbours and I are fed up that the problem is being solved. I keep receiving messages saying 'It's being investigated' but nothing has been solved. We had more workmen attempt to fix the uneven road on 24th Sept 2022 but it had no effect to the constant vibrations we are all still getting. How Thames Water can leave this road in such a state I'll never know. Have you thought about resurfacing Franks Wood Avenue rather than wasting time? It is very concerning what damage this may be causing to our properties.

  • I think it is a disgraceful that this has now been going on for so long. Constant shaking of the house which wakes us at night when Buses pass. My neighbours and I are fed up with the council not being able to rectify this problem. Do you not know what the problem is? Contact me and I will show you what I am experiencing.
