“Switch off engine” signs
Reported via iOS in the Sign Missing/Damaged category anonymously at 10:14, Fri 28 October 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3920475.
Not strictly “missing/damaged” but no appropriate option was offered; recently, “switch off engine” signs have been put up in Goddington Lane both to the east and west of St Olaves school. Local residents haven’t been told why these have been put in place after almost 150 years since combustion engines cars became commonplace. There is already an excess of signs in the Lane so why are these needed? Please can we told the reason?

The signs were installed as part of the anti-idling campaign around St Olave's School. After discussions with the school, we will arrange for them to be removed from Goddington Lane by our contractor.
