Large Lime Trees dropping branches on public highway
Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 16:43, Tue 1 November 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3930746.
The photographs show how 2 Lime trees on Hayes Common are dropping heavy branches onto the public track that is constantly used by vehicles and pedestrians, close to Brackendene and The White House. The branches seem to be rotten and the trees are extremely tall. In windy conditions the trees often drop branches and twigs and it is only a matter of time before they fall on pedestrians, vehicles or the nearby houses. The trees are the responsibility of the Council who should fell or reduce them to make them safe. The local residents have consistently expressed concern about the size and condition of the Limes.
