Switch engines off reduce emissions
Reported via iOS in the Road Marking category anonymously at 14:36, Mon 14 November 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3963173.
Filled in form with Bromley.gov requesting a sign to be put up by 176 bus stand Penge as this is 24 hour bus stand and they leave their engines idling. Report continuously to TFL. Never hear back from council other than automatic email! Maybe a sign on stand saying “ Switch engines off reduce emissions” might help this ongoing problem

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
