Request for young tree to be removed
Reported via desktop in the Young Tree Requires Maintenance category anonymously at 14:47, Wed 16 November 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3969212.
Hello, A few years ago, at my request, the tree which was in this position was removed by the Council because it was blocking my view to the right when exiting my drive and it was dangerous because the canber in the kerb is deep there. About 6 months ago many new trees were planted along Wickham Way and one was put in this position. Presumably the people organising the planting didn't check the file and see that this area should be left empty. Please can you therefore remove the tree and plant it in another location elsewhere? Thank you,

Thank you for the enquiry, as the tree has been in the ground now for a year, the removal of the tree will be detrimental to the repositioning of the tree. As the tree is a Ginko line of site should be interfered with, management of the tree in the future will be that the crown will be lifted to allow line of site down the road.
State changed to: No further action
