Hi I want to enquire about having a car parking permits again. Where I live we used to have signs up saying parking for permits holders only and over the years the signs have faded and have also been pulled down off of lamps and walls where they were originally placed. I would like to know how much it would be to have a permit and the differences prices if any for different lengths of time if it’s either a year or monthly. Also prices and how it works for visitors permit and how many we are allowed. If you are not able to help me in getting a permit can you please provide me information on how or who else I can contact. Thankyou. Images I have attached show a white board which was a permit holders only sign on a wall in the address i live in which is has faded. This is only a small car park and it’s frustrating that shoppers park here and there is a nearer car park above the Iceland shop that has 3 hours free parking but yet they park on a residential estate. At times I have had to wait for over an hour to park in my on close where I live. I also think parking bays need repainted as they have faded over the years and people don’t park their cars correctly in a bay. Some park at an angle taking up 2 to 3 bays. There needs to be signs put in place.

Our traffic engineers believe that any permit scheme here would be an Independent Parking Scheme, possibly run by a housing association, as this location is not part of any Controlled Parking Zone operated by the Council. The location has however been added to the list for future parking investigation
