Defect in road surface causing vibrations to homes
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 13:56, Tue 22 November 2022
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3984095.
Somewhere near to 68 Hayes Lane Bromley, when buses or particularly heavy lorries, e.g. a skip lorry drive over this part of the road towards Bromley town centre it causes a loud thud/ vibration and my home shakes, even my bed shakes. My home is reasonably set back from Hayes lane so it must be worse for the properties much closer. I think there must be a slight dip or bump in the road surface or similar that causes this to happen and it's got worse recently.

The issue is closer to number 72 Hayes Lane. It appears to be when lorries or buses drive across a drain cover in the road and there is a slight dip in the road there too.
