Road closures

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 00:19, Friday 25 November 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Signage went up at the start of September to state 'gas engineering works' for seven weeks. We are now at the end of November, one end of the Crescent is still closed and half of one end of Goodhart Way is obstructed with your 'road works' which is a risk for anybody turning into Goodhart Way from Pickhurst Lane if somebody is already queuing to turn left in Goodhart Way. I live in The Crescent and we have not seen a single worker for weeks now. If you are finished, please remove your unnecessary obstructions or send your workers back to finish the job which is five weeks behind schedule. It is not okay to just leave your stuff in the road if nobody is working because you are too lazy to pick it up. Furthermore could you please explain why 'the works' have been extended for a further five weeks which nobody seems to be working on, is there a cause for concern?
