Casual Fly-Tipping at Green Street Green Recycling Site

Sun 04 Dec: Casual fly-tipping on and around recycling bins has become normalised; the Green Street Green recycling site is a typical example, and we are grateful that Veolia carry out the unenviable task of clearing away the fly-tipped rubbish every day, much of which could be recycled. However, trying to hide the problem is neither reducing or in any way solving the problem. Please, less greenwash - https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ news/ article/ 419/ welcome-flytip-reduction-leads-to-wider-campaign - and more effort in tackling casual fly-tipping as well as chasing the money in commercial fly-tips. Bold, clear, consistent messaging in signage, and improvements at Green Street Green site to contain rubbish rather than allowing it to spread along the street and into green space would be appreciated. TIA
