Pavement block paving uneven

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 10:42, Thu 15 December 2022

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

On the corner of Tandridge drive where it meets Crofton Lane the block paving has now lifted in areas and become uneven as is now a hazard as people can easily trip on it, especially when the snow has covered the area. The large tree roots are probably the reason it has occurred, and the tree really now has become too large blocking sun to areas too where the pavements snow could have melted but hasn't and the pavements are icy outside 69 Crofton Lane towards Petts Wood.

  • I heard today that an elderly neighbour fell in that area at the weekend. I think although there is now a plastic barricade in that area it still doesn't cover the whole issue. The pavement needs fixing as soon as possible.

  • The two kerbstones have been fixed but unfortunately some of the block paving is still as it was when i reported it. This is due to the massive trees roots.
