Smashed up flat.
Reported via Android in the Flytip category anonymously at 22:02, Mon 16 January 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4138408.
The flat at 33 Hassop Walk was smashed up by the previous resident in May 2022.
The landlord of the address, Clarion Housing attended and boarded up some of the property in the days following the criminal damage however as you can see they have left a large amount of shattered glass exposed.
This poses a risk to local residents if someone decides to use this as a weapon as well as to passing children who may be curious and approach the property.
Due to the propery being unsecure, it makes the flat and the whole flat block suspectable to damp, mould, squatters, burglary and arson.
The property being left in that state brings down the area as a whole and encourages further crime to be committed (please look up broken windows theory in psychology).
The uncompleted repairs have been reported to Clarion Housing several times by multiple residents on the estate however they do not take action.
Please could LBB instruct Clarion Housing to fix their property as soon as possible in order to to protect local residents that remain in the area.
Thank you.
