The information supplied is insufficient to pinpoint the area of deterioration. Specific problems will be investigated with location details or they will be identified as part of the cycle of routine safety inspections of all publicly maintained highways to ensure that maintenance is undertaken as effectively and efficiently as possible.

How about looking where the PIN was placed? Or ask for a description, Starts Hill, A21 bound just before Broadwater Gdns. Seems to me you are not really interested in Health & Safety.Your routine safety inspections clearly don't work imo!

Thank you for your update, This issue has been inspected and at present no works have been raised due to the area reported not meeting the London Borough of Bromley investigatory levels for repair, However the area will be regularly monitored and further repairs will be raised when/if necessary.
The investigatory levels for repair in the footway are trips of 20mm or above, or if the slabs are loose and rocking severely. Paving is not replaced if just cracked. In the Carriageway it is for localised immediate vertical deflections measuring 30mm deep or more in the trafficked directions. This does not mean that all defects that reach this level will be repaired, just that they may be considered for repair.

Will you send a sweeper to sweep all the tar chippings from the hole then, might save a few windscreens. Sadly I have no confidence in your "regular inspections." Look art the state you have allowed the High St in Farnborough to get into!

Thank you for your update, We ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information or updates and ensure the information is passed promptly to our contractor. Please log the issue via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk as a new report using the map marker and description to detail where the issue is located. Please note that if the location you wish to mark is already occupied by a pin, you can hide the map pins via the button in the bottom left or you can click a nearby free section of the map to drop your green reporting pin so that all other yellow pins indicating existing reports disappear, you can then click and drag your green pin to the correct location and continue submitting your report.
