Blocked road gullies

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain category anonymously at 18:10, Saturday 28 January 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The road gulley outside 51/53 is solidly blocked & has been for at least a year. Also the gulley on the corner of Edward road although that is more recent but caused a major puddle with the heavy rain earlier in the month.

  • Apologies for this, just to let you know that the service providers have been instructed to return and clear the gully in question.

Posted by Bromley Council at 17:34, Thursday 9 February 2023

  • Thanks. Edward Rd has been cleared now but not 51/53 Green Lane - hopefully this will follow.

Posted anonymously at 16:15, Friday 10 February 2023

  • The service providers have made two more unsuccessful attempts to clean the gully which is due to parked cars blocking access.

The drain is in a low risk flood area where other adjacent gullies are operational , therefore, it will be added to a Forward Works Programme where it will be highlighted for the next cyclical cleanse.

This report will now be closed.
