1 tree leaning into another which also looks unhealthy
Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 15:17, Sun 5 February 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4205357.
Just over our back fence (no. 51) there are 2 trees, one is leaning a lot and appears to be leaning into the other tree which looks to be unhealthy and starting to lean as well. There is a risk that both trees will fall into our garden.

Can you please advise when this issue will be dealt with given I advised of the issue in early February. The trees have been marked with an orange X. Does this mean that they will be taken down? If so, when please?

My apologies, the works are in hand to be completed by the contractor as a priority. The marked trees with X are due for removal, thank you for your continued patience.

I am sorry it is not possible to give individual time frames for individual jobs given the physical volume of jobs raised each day. The works have been issued to the contractor who will undertake them as soon as possible.

My apologies your enquiry has an unresolved status, which has not been helped by the two recent storm events which has resulted in a high number of tree emergency callout enquiries. The contractor will return to enquiry raised jobs as soon as the storm clear up has been completed. Thank you for your patience.

Hi, I understand that the recent storms will have made the contractors busy now but this issue was reported almost a year ago and the trees were viewed and marked not long after. So I dont really accept that the recent storms are the cause of the delay.

Please accept our apologies for the delays. These works have been removed from our incumbent contractor and given to a third party contractor. We anticipate these will be completed within the next 6 to 8 weeks.
