Flooding & pot holes
Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 07:31, Mon 13 March 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4305624.
The flooding needs sorting once and for all; I have had an exhaust sensor replaced due to water damage, I have had my number plate come off driving through the flood.
There is also a really bad pothole that appeared today just past Oaklands going up Jewels Hill, and Jewels Hill is dreadful even after the recent works.

Where is the duty of care, I have reported this previously and had a reply it was fixed. This needs a permanent solution to repair this flooding. This is also an H&S issue.

The drainage assets have been attended by our drainage contractor however the source of the issue appears to be more complex than a simple routine cleanse. As such further investigation work will be required using CCTV. These need to be scheduled alongside cyclic drainage cleans, emergency call outs, pre-planned drainage operations and ad-hoc call outs meaning they are often undertaken not in the order that they are reported but in the order of degree of urgency. Due to the expense of CCTV investigations, they are also undertaken in bulk. Therefore, non-urgent CCTV work may take some time to complete. While this FixMyStreet report will be closed the issue will remain on our list of outstanding drainage works until such time that they can be completed. We thank you for your patience and understanding on these matters.
Please report pot holes separately as they are dealt with by a different department.
