Lack of road marking
Reported via mobile in the Road Marking category anonymously at 10:27, Tue 14 March 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4311156.
Chancellor's Close BR33FA is hidden from Monk's Orchard road.No signage of the Close on main road. Vehicles emerging from the close onto the main road are at risk due to lack of awareness of other drivers. Also because there are no parking restrictions vehicles often park right beside the exit, totally blocking the view for cars emerging from the Close. This is a potentially dangerous situation.Cars are forced to edge out blindly into oncoming traffic.

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
