Pot hole

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4370062.

There is a deep pot hole on the access side of Whitmore Road, which if drivers try to avoid it, could cause an accident.

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • Bromley Council are doing a full resurfacing of a near side road, but not fixing any potholes. I think someone needs to say why a full resurfacing - of a side road - has been prioritised over fixing the main roads in the area.

  • Seems some work has been done, but there remains a pothole to fix on the exit side of the road. Why was this not fixed when the ones on the entering side of the road was fixed YESTERDAY.

  • Thank you for you comments, Bromley are working with our contractor to prioritise the most urgent issues across the borough; we would also ask if you have not already that as a separate defect the issue is logged as a new and separate report to ensure the information is passed promptly to our teams and contractors for assessment and appropriate action.
