  • Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

  • The drainage assets have been attended by our drainage contractor however the source of the issue appears to be more complex than a simple routine cleanse. As such further investigation work will be required using CCTV. These need to be scheduled alongside cyclic drainage cleans, emergency call outs, pre-planned drainage operations and ad-hoc call outs meaning they are often undertaken not in the order that they are reported but in the order of degree of urgency. Due to the expense of CCTV investigations, they are also undertaken in bulk. Therefore, non-urgent CCTV work may take some time to complete. While this FixMyStreet report will be closed the issue will remain on our list of outstanding drainage works until such time that they can be completed. We thank you for your patience and understanding on these matters.

  • Thank you for your reply with reasoning. However may I suggest that for public information and expectations, rather than classifying this in FMS as Closed or No Further Action, that some other description be used, eg. 'work to be scheduled'? Thank you.
