This tree collapsed in front of the flats on Duddington close on Sunday, this was outside my house no13 ,luckily it fell towards the flats and not my window but still it blocked the entrance to the block of flats so my husband had to drag it to the side so people could enter ,needless to say it is still there and there are certainly a lot more trees that will definitely collapse in a strong wind ,next time someone might not be so lucky.Duddington close needs a lot of tree care and has been neglected for some time now, seems like it’s out of sight out of mind as we are well hidden .

  • These are the huge trees that Mr (). literally had to heave the trees from the pathway. Thank you to him and I know all residents in the flats & the little old ladies who have to walk from top of Duddington Close; all residents who walk up through the woods were really pleased that he had cleared a bit of pathway! But like I said, with the wind it’s came back onto the walkway & nearly took my eyeballs out it’s dangerous all the trees are dangerous! The residents in the flats would have been unable to get outside the community front door if he had not heaved all that amount of tree all on his own! Thank the Lord for good Neighbours! It’s soo dangerous ! It really needs to addressed. Someone is going to really hurt theirselves.

  • The part that broke off has been taken away but the tree looks like it is dead and probably in the next winds we have will collapse and my house might not be so lucky next time
