The Community Path has broken glass and litter scattered
Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 21:58, Monday 1 May 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4506095.
The Community Path needs cleaning of rubbish and broken glass. There is also rubbish building up under the big tree. This broken glass has been there for over three weeks. I understand someone / company is paid to keep this path clean but I have to complete a fix my street every time the rubbish builds up. Can we ensure this path is cleaned regularly. Thank you

This issue has not been resolved. Broken glass, rubbish and weeds still lay along the community path. Please ensure these contractors are doing their job. This path needs cleaning at least twice per week. Thank you Linda

22 May 23. Sadly this clean up has still not happened. If the contractor is not going to fulfil their duty surely they should be removed. We try to keep our village in a good condition and the community path is just totally ignored as though it does not matter. Please remove this contractor or make sure they fulfil their duty before any monies are paid to them. Thank you

Thank you for updating me. The glass has gone but the community path has not been swept or weeds removed for some time . Disappointed at how people work. Can you confirm to me please how many days per week this contractor is paid to keep the community path cLean. As a point of note, the new rubbish bin that the council added to the path was placed right at the end of the path attached to the high street where there are already many rubbish bins. The bin should be placed half way along the path facing the opening to back entrance and parking at Sainsbury’s. If the bin faced that it might remove the dropping of rubbish of sandwiches boxes, empty cans of drink etc that customers eat and drink before reaching the path. Your thoughts please and thanks again for your help

Thank you for your additional comments.
The councils street cleansing service providers should be attending this footpath on a daily basis, which the Neighbourhood officer will be discussing with the service providers management team, the neighbourhood officer will also ask that the litter bin is relocated to the suggested area.
