Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4593340.
The large chestnut tree outside 32 St. James's Avenue, together with another large chestnut tree on the opposite side of the road and another outside 38 St. James's Avenue, were all drastically lopped about 6 months ago. Residents were informed that this was in preparation of the three trees being cut down and replaced. The large chestnut tree outside 38 St. James's Avenue was replaced about 6 weeks ago with a Quercus Ilex (and another Quercus Ilex planted in an empty pit outside 26 St. James's Avenue). The very helpful personnel carrying out the work said both remaining horse chestnut trees would be removed as they were in poor condition. However, there has been no sign or notice or the two trees being removed and replaced. Could you please provide an update on the position?
