Tree causing damage

Reported via mobile in the Tree roots lifting pavement category anonymously at 08:29, Thursday 25 May 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4593720.

Hi, Outside our home (25 Fashoda Road BR2) there is a young tree which is causing a number of issues.

1) The root system is causing the pavement outside our home to be lifted and has created a trip hazard which is especially an issue as we have two small children.

2) The sap from the tree is causing damage to our car as we often have to park under it.

3) The tree overhangs our property and the sap is also damaging our frontage area and in the autumn the leaves deposited are a constant slip hazard and require constant cleaning to stop further staining and damage and reduce the hazard they create.
