Reported via desktop in the Young Tree Requires Maintenance category anonymously at 09:38, Sun 28 May 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4604132.
One of hessian straps broken. Young tree leaning to one side. It is also very tall wonder if it needs reducing in height. There are other trees in my area where hessian straps are broken if you let me have a supply I am happy to replace this one and others in my area. It’s outside number 11.

Since May 22 our watering crews have been started giving each newly planted tree 50 litres of water. We can verify that the contractors have been on site via the QR code located on the stake. During the visit, the stakes and bags are also adjusted and later in the year additional mulch will be added to the tree. We kindly ask all residents who are willing and interested to water trees in addition to our crews who water them in the summer. Please take all required precautions if you chose to also water the trees. The extra water will ensure their best chances of survival and good growth. See more info at Arboricultural Association - Watering young trees in dry weather
Our aim is to establish a Forest of Street Trees through the LBB Treemendous Project over the next 5 years and we kindly appreciate the tree care given by residents to ensure every tree is established well and can grow to maturity. See our web site for more information and updates Treemendous tree planting underway – London Borough of Bromley.
