Ongoing road restrictions with no workmen present for 4 and a half days.

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4614620.
Workmen started work at number 145 Pickhurst Lane last week. Traffic lights were installed and one lane closed on Friday 26th May. Since then, no workmen have appeared at the site since Saturday morning, 4 and a half days, including today. Traffic, which is heavy on this road, has been disrupted 24 hours a day. I spoke to SGN this morning, who said that their permit runs out today. This disruption is unacceptable when no-one is making any attempt to close the task (or the hole in the road/pavement). The permit number is XW062 W119561892-02961.

Thank you for your enquiry.
These were unplanned SGN works relating to a gas leak. The repair was completed earlier than expected on the Friday and SGN were unable to reinstate the area until after the Bank Holiday weekend.
The works were cleared by the end of 31/05.
