Gas cannisters fly tipped 30/5/24 and lots of litter

Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 14:03, Wednesday 31 May 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4615406.

The entire pathway from Poverest Road to Lee Green is covered in litter. Your maintenance men did a great job of strimming it into smaller pieces when clearing the edges of the path rather than removing the litter first, 10/10 for common sense. There's loads of litter at the base of the hedges bordering the path thrown from passing vehicles. Now a bin bag of large nitrous oxide cannisters have also been dumped.

  • Really? What is the point of this website if you are going to lie. No one has been to the site and absolutely nothing has been done. I think you'd better check on your useless contractors.

  • Additional works means they attended in the first place, quite obviously noone bothered. It's no wonder the area is used as a dumping ground. They've picked up 'most' of the rubbish but an arthritic OAP could probably do a better job. I would suggest if your contractors have anything that resembles a manager they take a look, there are split bin bags that once contained garden waste and other rubbish by the hedge running the length of the path. Either they're not being given enough time to complete work or they can't be arsed. You as a council are being ripped off.
