Safety surface vandalised

Reported via Android in the Playground Repairs category anonymously at 21:07, Tuesday 22 August 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4917143.

This has been reported numerous times by the school. Having witnessed while working during school closure children throwing parts of safety surface after is been torn away. This park is unsafe to be used and needs urgent fixing as both a park during school closure and once it re opens as a school where we will be forced to hazard it off. These safety surface defects do not provide adequate safety measures for the equipment bring utilized by the parks department and will now compromises children park safety. The litter and graffiti is also an issue..previous visitors reporting glass and cigarettes. This would now be in breach of risk assessment planning and any accident relating to issues reported would be reportable to HSE as they are now known defects and not acted upon. The last safety surface complaint only resulted in a small section being repaired. The while safety surface gas hone past its lifespan and needs rectifying urgently
