Collapsing Drain

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4917384.

After the initial unsuccessful repair, and replying to subsequent emails from yourselves with regards to has the fault been rectified, the drain is still collapsing due to buses constantly running over the drain cover due to the narrow gap between the verge and traffic island. This has been ongoing for at least 2 months

  • Hole as got worse over last few days, concrete broken out and come out exposing the edge of the drain casing. The hole is at least 6" deep and will cause serious damage to a cyclist or motobike, every time a bus goes down the hole, my windows shake

  • Hole is worse, concrete now broken up and whole drain is exposed. Hole approx 6" deep and a very dangerous to all road users

  • The order for this repair has been raised with the Council’s contractor and remains outstanding within their planned schedule of works.

    Please continue to bear with us. We anticipate an early resolution to this report from this point in time.

  • Drain was fixed today, but drain now filled up concrete, picture doesn't show it very well, but this drain is now blocked. Bromley Council must be really scrapping the barrel with the contractors they employ
