  • Resident called to chase as the branch is now pushing fence at the bottom concern for security issue

Posted anonymously at 12:55, Monday 20 November 2023

  • I write on behalf of Ms S. Anderson, an elderly resident of 56 Kent Road, BR5 4AB. As noted above, her back garden fence which borders Riverside Gardens has been dislodged even further since the problem was first reported in September. Should the fence collapse there will be easy access to her property from Riverside Gardens and she is naturally feeling nervous and vulnerable. It is unclear why this matter has apparently been investigated on the 2nd, 16th and 24th October. It is one extremely thick offshoot from the trunk which cannot be dealt with by the resident, nor should she have to. It would be greatly appreciated if this could be attended to as a matter of priority as this resident's security would be severely at risk should her fence be pushed over. L.Jones, Advocate and friend of Ms. S. Anderson.
