Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 12:56, Wednesday 20 September 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5013696.
This tree overhangs the roof and blocks the gutters of the top flat on the corner of Village Way/The High Street. Internal damage to plasterwork has been caused in previous years due to leaves blocking the gutter. Issue is likely to reoccur this year. Lovely tree but please prune.

Multiple large, thick branches which have absolutely no impact on leaves falling into the gutters have now been cut down. So you've mutilated the tree for no reason. The branches over hanging the gutter are still there.

Thank you for the comment, the works raised where to stop the branches from hitting the roof, Bromley council does not cut back over hang or remove branches because of leaf drop as per the Tree Management Strategy. Please reference the Tree Management Strategy for further information.
