Pavement not being sweeped

Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 14:05, Tuesday 26 September 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5033489.

I moved to Acorn Close 1 year ago. To this date the pavements have never been swept. Can this be attended to. Resident do take care of their own frontages, but the left had side as you go down does not have houses. Would you know if there is a schedule for sweeping the pavements for Acorn Close?

  • I reported this issue 2 months ago, and still the pavement has not been swept. How often can we expect our pavement to be swept? It has now been 1 year and 2 months that I have lived here, and the pavement has never been swept. Neighbours tell me it has been 3 years since it was last swept. We seem to have dropped completely off the sweeping rota.

  • For the second time you have replied that the problem has been fixed. However it has not. The road was swept this week, which it occurs on a regular basis. However, the pavements remain un-swept as they have been for the last three years. To be completely clear, the issue is with the pavement not the road. many thanks
