Trees covering street light

The trees in the garden of 57 Stepleton Road are covering the street light on Wayne Close. The street light is near a particularly dark area where the garages for Wayne Close are located.

  • We have notified the responsible party of their duties and responsibilities and informed them that further enforcement action may be taken if the issue is not resolved. For overhanging vegetation reports please allow 28 days for the responsible party to arrange action before notifying us of any continued obstruction.

  • Resident has called in as she receive the letter. She has arranged a tree surgeons to attend to deal with the issue. Their availability will be the 1st November 2023.

  • Hi, It appears that only branches around the actual light have been cleared, but there are still big branches covering both sides of lamp post that need to be cleared please. Thanks.

  • Upon inspection, the branches of the tree has been cut back sufficiently enough, whereas it is no longer blocking the light. No further action.
